Hi ..
I am having 3.3 yrs of experience in testing..
Iam joining service based company.
Please tell how much package is currently there in the market i need tobe expecting ?

I’m not old BUT when I was younger I thought it was important to have all the alphabets after my name (I.e. Phr, SHRM and all the others). I learning that the younger crowd coming into the market thrives off these identifiers yet they know very little about the real world aspects of the job. I watch leadership roll their eyes at the email footers. I feel like keeping those attached to my name hurts my credibility so I removed them…. I’m I thinking wrong?

Colorado has a salary transparency law that forces employees to put salary ranges in the job posting. Every state needs to have that instead of just talking about wage inequality.

I hate to say this but being single & recently unlucky in love has made me so miserable. All I can focus on is how I’m in my late 20s without a partner & behind in life

Objectively, I know I have a good job & have lots of friends & social plans. But not having a partner has made me unhappy and anxious. I worry I’ll never find someone. All of my best friends are cuffed and are with their SOs. Anyone have advice to overcome?

Have any of you ladies managed to get over an ex after being hung up on them for years? My ex and I broke up two years ago but I still think about him every day. We live in different countries and he’s now married - I’ve tried multiple therapists, changing cities, traveling loads, throwing myself into work, dating, self help books, you name it. While the pain has become much more bearable, it’s never gone away. Will it ever?

Whenever I give my mum updates on my life be it career or when my husband engaged she always has a variation of one question “ Does your job make you happy?” “Does he make you happy?” I am an immigrant from Africa and this always surprises me as I am always prepared to answer 1000 hot seat type questions. I hope to one day take a similar approach when I have adult kids.

Hi everyone! I am in a weird situation right now that I haven’t been in before and could really use some advice especially from women who might have faced or seen something similar. Long story short, I was brought into my current firm and promised that the work I want to do is within the team/solution they recruited me for and aligned me with in the system. However, once I started working on the project, it became very clear that I’m in the wrong team and on the wrong project (continued below)

I’m dating someone new and it is going very well. He is kind, not high strung, with great values and shares my sense of humor. It is so easy and natural to spend multiple days with him.
Still I am having doubts because I think he isn’t very “intellectual”. To be clear, he’s intelligent! He is a great STEM role that requires an advanced degree. We share a love of reading as well. However he is not really interested in world affairs, does not follow the news closely, does not have a strong grasp

My friend who I have known for 10 years recently became really weird about paying me back for things and I’m not sure how to handle it. We went to a group dinner and everyone paid me back but her, I assumed she forgot and let it go. We went out to grab a drink yesterday, I had one glass of wine, she had 3 cocktails and then ordered a meal, when the bartender asked how we wanted to split the check she quickly said “you can just split it evenly”. I ended up paying $55 for my glass of wine (cont)
