Hi, I have recently got the offer from HCL Technologies, they are offering only 7LPA and I have a counter offer in Cognizant, they offering me 8.8 LPA. I spoke with the HCL HR on the same, HR said that they will revise the offer two days before my joining date. This was happened over the phone call, so I mailed them to send me a mail, detailing all the information we talked over the call, but still I didn't get any mail from them. Now they are urging me to upload the docs. What I do??

K1 brown/tan shoes do not go with a gray suit (light gray, charcoal gray, chalk stripe, etc.) or a black suit, and wearing shoes of that color with a navy suit draws the eyes directly to the shoes, ie they stand out as a distraction. IMO, you should wear black shoes with a gray or black suit, and either black or cordovan/oxblood shoes with a navy suit.
I know this sounds rigid of me, and maybe it's just an age thing, but I have only ever noticed those brown/tan shoes on consultants. It's like a "tell" in poker to me. YMMV
@p1 who cares if it's a tell? I'm not hiding that I'm a consultant. And if you actually followed fashion that closely you'd know the trend of navy blue suit with tan/dark brown oxfords these past couple of years.
He brags about being upper right
You hear them talking about bill rates blah blah deloitte blah blah .... Slicked back hair, suit jacket and trying to pick up girls who couldn't care less
He's wearing those effing brown/tan shoes w/a grey suit
When you overhear the words leverage and deliverables in close proximity
When they talk about MBBD
When they spend 20 minutes trying to pick up a girl and all they can talk about is work
He suggests a more efficient way for the bartender to serve more drinks per hour and, as a result, collect more personal incentives while contributing to the overall bottom line
He uses the word "workstream" while talking to a colleague while side by side at the urinals, while missing the sad irony of the situation
And workstream
He has a branded bag
He's talking to someone from EY
You see the good app
Damnit you got me OP
He's drunk as shit and working.
I hate "workstream"
He/she is being anti social and browsing the FB app
K2 I know what it means, I'm asking how else EY would refer to it if not "workstream"
@p1 what's wrong with brown shoes? @mck1 it means a portion of the project
We use workstream/work stream. The fact we don't have a formal standard in our style guide irks me - if we have to use it, we at least need to be consistent right?
