ZS Associates Hello folks, I am a permanent employee of Persistent. I am deputed at the client side. My client is an ZS associate. Recently I have resigned from persistent. But ZS is very happy with my work. They don't want me to go. My ZS manager has asked the persis manager to retain me OR remove the cooling period clause, ZS is ready to hire me as a permanent employee. I will be very happy is ZS takes me as Permanent employee. I think an underlying condition is an underlying condition. Asthma, obesity, whatever. If you’re considered part of the at risk population, you should put your well-being first.
Yes, if you don’t feel comfortable, tell your employer. They don’t need the details on your underlying condition.

a valid reason to not have a consulting job yes... you are supposed to fly out to client sites morbidly obese or not.

maybe it was taken the wrong way, but you cant use "morbidly obese" as an excuse for not travelling to client site. With that being said, Accenture has a de facto ban on client travel for the next 9 months iorc due to covid.

I'm also in that category -- I'm obviously Plus sized, but you'd never know I'm morbidly obese by about 30 lbs. It's not as big as you'd think. Don't judge.

A3, there is your answer. Thank you for being brave SA3. I hope your company can accommodate you and your concerns. My grandfather was too. I could be, under 230 but never tested. Certainly some added health concerns. Business has been fine remotely, push for that. Are you in law?

Yes, it's a good reason, but if you can work to rectify that you definitely should.
Definitely a valid reason, and if your associate role is anything like mine, it’s not an undue burden on the firm to have you working remotely!
