Base - £68k to £80k (and 7 - 15% bonus)

I would say £65 is the norm for starting AC - it will raise closer to £80k with yearly raises. The range that ZS1 has given is based on the tenure at AC level.
For your reference my starting C salary (next level) was £72k 3 years ago.
If you think your skills are closer to C, you would need to provide clear evidence of that.
My SIP AC range in the last 2 years was between £62-72k (62k at initial promotion to AC, 72k after 1 year in the role, then promoted in the year after so no view on what the top end of the range is). Ofc it varies from individual to individual it sounds like £65k is pretty much the standard starting pay for an AC. Depending on your YOE and what you’ve been told in the hiring process, you could try to argue that you see yourself coming in as a more senior AC (assuming that the interviewers have said the usual about how they see you coming in at AC level but if you perform well you could get promoted quickly to C)
Super helpful ZS 3! Thanks you all guys!
