If anyone is looking for a new job in tax, the going rate that I have seen for LA area is $80k for experienced tax associate and $92k-$100k for a tax senior in compliance tax work. Anyone else have updated/current salary info for tax professionals looking for new jobs.

Coinbase I wanted to get some thoughts from people on here. I’ve at Goldman for less than a year but Coinbase reached out to interview me for similar role. The role is of an Associate in KYC group. Not sure if it worth pursuing since I have been at Goldman for long. Wanted to get opinion on possible comp and culture if anyone has any information would be greatly appreciated.

Stay at Deloitte with a base salary of 79k as a experienced analyst or leave for PwC at 91k with 10k signing bonus and a accelerated time line to senior associate? Built a good relationship with a PPMD at Deloitte and don't want to burn that bridge.

Let’s talk about carry. When are folks at your firm granted carry? How much and what are the vesting terms? How do you consider carry in terms of your total comp?
I’ll start. At my MM firm, carry is granted based on fundraising and can be granted as early as associate for the right person, though usually senior associate and up. Vesting is immediate and paid out as fund investments are exited.

I've got a recruiter pitch, but what does that job really look like. Are those numbers in line with what is there - any additional wiggle room I might push for?

Input needed. Received offer from McK as a manager on solutions side. Currently Sr. associate at boutique (generalist). Just received a promotion to engagement manager that I thought I had no shot at. New comp is now slightly higher than McK offer. Am I crazy to question the jump? What other things should I be considering? Exit opps, benefits, advancement, etc. Thinking I should leave to get McK on the resume, but hard to leave money on the table. Realize a lot of factors, but any thoughts? TIA

I have 9.5 YOE already serving Notice period. Got offer for SAT TSE IT service line

1) I have got designation ASSOCIATE MANAGER Grade 42. Is it good for 9.5 YOE

2) current offer in hand is 25 LPA 22 fixed 3 variable. EY GDS offered 23.5 fixed + 10% bonus. Should I ask more?

3) I also asked for joining bonus as I will be joining in 30 days but HR declined. Should I bargain hard for joining bonus. If HR increase the offer that is 23.5 LPA?
