Hi fishes! I Have an interview at an agency in NY I’ve been crushing on for a while. Having a hard time figuring out my salary range. I make 90k in SF at agency, would it be crazy for me to enter the discussion at 85-90k? Knowing I’d be willing to be backed down to around 80k (give or take 2k). Glassdoor is a little confusing bc there’s separate suggestions for “senior designer” and “senior graphic designer”. Anyone have suggestions or willing to offer how much they make? Thanks y’all!

Have the option to transfer to Canada (Vancouver/Toronto/Montreal) and keep my US salary or to London at a 10% paycut. My current salary is 100K USD which will be ~65K GBP if London and ~125K CAD if Canada. Obviously my salary will go further in Canada but London sounds too cool to pass on. So my main question is: will living on 65K in London be comfortable enough that I just do it for the experience? Currently in NYC at 3 yoe and will go back to the US after 1 year for MBA. Please advise!
Recently got an offer from Slalom for 110K and wondering whether I should take it. Mentioned I’ll have to forgo my bonus this year to join in hopes of a better offer. Hi all! New investor here, and starting full time this summer (advisory, 75k). No student loans. Trying to figure out the tax savings accounts to open. Here's what I've gathered to open (in order): 1. Roth 401k and max out ONLY to what the company is willing to match (Free $) 2. HSA (via a high deductible insurance plan plus max out the HSA since I can consider it a secondary retirement account to invest in it) 3. Roth IRA (max this out too and invest) Any comments/feedbacks/tips appreciated!

Spoke with a Deloitte recruiter & had short interview with a manager. I’m not being invited to a formal interview, but things have changed & I want to remove myself from consideration.

This question is probably beaten to death. I think I am not eligible to contribute to Roth IRA as our joint income is more than 200k. I have 401k but spouse doesn’t have a employer provided plan. I would like to contribute as much as possible to a IRA. Can I put as much as I want to a IRA, deduct 6000$ as tax deductible and rest (as much as I want) as nondeductible ? Or should I open two separate Ira account to keep things simple ?

What salary should I expect for a HR Enterprise Solution Architect - 6 YOE with Workday + 10 prior HR functional
At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?
How is the business going for all you consultants? Are your companies getting new projects? Any layoffs ?

Nothing sucks more than going on an interview(s), thinking you did well, and then not hearing from the company for weeks. Having to write off a company you really liked is so sad
