Transparency post. I had to let go of my fitness apps and watches for awhile. Something that I was once proud to look at after my workouts, became something toxic and me being disappointed in myself. I realized I was being more addicted to the numbers than just being proud that I worked out and being happy. So temporarily (or until I begin feeling better) I’ll stop using the fitness apps to track my calories etc and just track how many days I have been active on my calendar — like a daily to-do.
