Why do I have to login with LinkedIn?

We've found LinkedIn the most straight forward way for our community to verify that they are professionals. This way you know you're talking to others in the same boat as yourself.

Why does it say I'm on the wait list?

The most important part of Fishbowl is the community. So, it's important for us to make sure that community guidelines are upheld and users are part of the most meaningful crowd. That means we're taking our time to roll out the service to ensure all members have the best experience possible.

How do I change my company?

You can change your current company within My Account Details in the menu section. Once there, just click Edit and tap on the company field. You may be required to verify your current employer with either LinkedIn or a current work email address.

If you were invited to Fishbowl and had the wrong company listed as your current employer you may need to switch it within the settings, restart the app, and try to login again. If you're still having issues email us at and we'll be happy to help you out!

How do I change what's shared about me when I post?

Fishbowl makes it easy to change your sharing settings. Whenever you choose to post, you can simply tap on one of the icons that appear on the bottom of the publish box. Each icon will clearly display what will be displayed when you post.

What do others see when I upvote a post or comment?

When you upvote a comment or a post, others will receive a notification similar to one of the following:

Someone at [Your Company Name] just upvoted your post

A [Your Fishbowl Title] just upvoted your post

Can I invite people?

Certainly! You can now invite friends and colleagues within the app. Or just email with a list of emails you'd like to invite and we'll take care of the rest.

How do I delete my account?

You can easily submit an account deletion request within the application by tapping the Settings icon and selecting Send Feedback. There will be a reference number generated by the email request necessary to complete the account deletion.
