I am using the hell out of my company’s Legal benefit. This year, for free, I got my will done, had my parents and the in-laws’ estate documents reviewed, had a demand letter to my overreaching neighbor written, and a home purchase contract reviewed. Interviewing for what should be SD role in A&M’s public sector practice. I know it’s quite small compared to Deloitte, which is part of the appeal. Curious about how comp model differs in public sector at A&M vs their PEPI or NACR groups. What’s the culture like? Opportunities to move up?

I understand and support the fact that parents often need to take a couple hours off during the day to attend to their kids needs (school pick up / drop off, practices, etc.) but definitely frustrating when those same parents then criticize team members for not being available at all times.

Changed my company but it didn't update!

I did not grow up in the US but live in a second tier city in the Midwest now. We are sending our daughter to a private elementary school now for ~$20k a year. Is it worth it vs. good public schools? In terms of academic outcome and emotional well being for the child. Anyone with personal experience?
