Sometimes I like adulting. And sometimes adulting is the fucking worst.

Guys I have 1.5 years of experience in TCS. I've worked in python, Machine Learning and worked in backend and frontend and research and I have amazing mentors. I can't decide if I should continue with TCS or Switch or go for Masters and if I go for Masters should I go on Sabbatical or should I leave TCS. Any suggestions? Also any tips on resume building are welcome.

Are MBB firms about to do a hiring freeze as well?

Have you ever felt jealous if someone who mentors you also focusses on other peers?

I have interviewed for three different positions within DOJ in the national security sector and I always seem to get passed up. I have prepped extensively and have been my true self. I have also expressed my passion for the work. I used to work at DOJ in another office as an attorney too. I’m not sure if these offices just don’t like me or what I say, but im wondering if anyone has experienced this and how did you improve or get hired in the field?

Ridiculously beginner questions but: 1) is the max 401k ($19,500) that you can save per year including employer contributions? 2) hypothetically what happens if I set my contribution rate too high and don't correct it? Let's say I make $100k and set my rate to be 30% which would result in my saving to much. Are there safeguards against this or do I get penalized? Thanks!
