Welp folks… on my last day with my currently employer.. I did a terrible thing… i accidentally replied all to a company wide email.

Talk about going out with a bang 😂

At what point in the interview process would you be willing to invest 2.5hrs in a research exercise assessment at the SM level? As a working mother of two young children already doing the work of two people due to a short handed team, I’m on the fence about it when I have doubts about the role being a good fit/worth leaving a Big 4 in the first place. I admit I’m also salty after the first round interview was 30mn of scripted questions (with NO true engagement) by a person with 4yoe to my 12.5.

Personal finance book recommendations?

I went out to this bar last night with a friend after work (midtown East area) and this guy approached us with his buddies and asked me where I’m from. I told him I’m from Queens/live in Queens and he couldn’t fathom that I made a “trip” out to midtown just for drinks. I’m all about people moving to NYC and all but some of you really need to branch out, it’s embarrassing 😆

Can anyone give me tips on getting a tech sales job in Seattle while not living there? I am going down referral paths but it is hard to get them to notice me in another state.

Maybe it’s me, but I just hate the fact that I should “max out my 401k.” How do I know ill even be alive to see retirement? Shouldn’t I just save money for a house or pad my savings rather than 401k?
