I went through this summer trying to move. Getting no interviews at all. I have 5 second round interviews this week…..

I work with quite a few oldheads in my department, I’d like to know how to convince the higher-ups that we need to evolve our strategies to bring us in line with best current practices. However, I don’t want to act out of line or be disrespectful since this is my first role and I have less than a year here.

I have worked as a server/bartender in nyc for over a decade. I have also worked in catering special events and people have always loved my energy. I am looking get into the event space as a professional Mingler where I can interact directly with your guests and elevate the energy level of your event.

Does anybody have an 11th hour blame game partner. Put together a good response on an MTD. Lots of review, discussing, and back and forth as it’s a large case. There was a case cited that neither of us reviewed cited by OC. OC literally gave the case one sentence of attention. Senior partner comes back to me and says review anything cited in a motion before filing a response.
Totally inconsequential issue, but I’m like dude you could have looked too. Definitely a pet peeve.

Summer interns have no clue what their signing up for. If only they realize that they will be spending hours fixing commas, period and page numbers.

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

Hello everyone! I am looking for advice. I am a C&B Team lead ( about 15 years of experience) but all my experience was in Russia. Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?

I'm working with EPAM, 7.8 yoe as dot net full stack with ctc 26LPA. Fed up with my current tech stack now project want on call support over weekend. no one knows project. No one is supporting. Thinking abt current situation I'm bit worrying. Somehow given interview in EY and selected. HR ask me CTC, NP and expected CTC. I told 20% and 60 days NP. She said, will check with business and get back to me. It's been 3 days no response, when I called her today she didn't pick. Is it normal in EY?

I’ve been an AP for a little over a year in NYC. My day rate is 300 and I want to ask for a raise. Is 400 reasonable?

Since there are apparently no jobs in London, has anyone had any luck being hired for a remote job where the understanding is that you will never be in their office? My joining date is on 31st Oct Pune and i am yet to receive the joining letter. iBegin portal have no information of the office location and other detials. I tried to reach out HR/on-boarding manager/Buddy and no response yet.
Can someone tell me about -
1) Process of receiving joining kit?
2) Will there be any pre-joining meetings?
3) Will there be any traveling/accommodation incentive?
