Can someone pls explain and give numbers for the cost of living and salary for a fresher with 2 years experience in design (other fields eg.s also welcome) in US, UK and India. I understand the figures would depend on the city but I'm looking for average. I plan to use this info to decide and plan for my masters abroad in terms of breakeven, etc.

Today i had orientation session and They told that For claiming HRA you need to provide Landlord PAN as proof.

Career advice please. I'm in my 20's work for a company that just went public, I'll receive a few thousand in shares for my time there. I have good pto and insurance is paid for. There is room for growth, so no real stall in my career. However I have a job offer for a contract with a crypto company for double what I make. It's a year contract and I use the company's product on my own time all the time. I am also heavily invested in the crypto space, philosophically monetarily, and time wise.

Recently accepted an internal transfer offer to switch to FDD from audit in a couple months. After seeing inflation numbers, the PWC 15% deals bump, and generally feeling lowballed (90k HCOL for an S1), I’m feeling really fed up and considering looking to other big 4 (PWC) for FDD to get the comp I feel I deserve. Would this be taboo considering I already accepted an offer?

Can firms provide FDD services to their audit clients? I always thought that you can’t provide advisory services to an audit client because of independence, but I just had an MD tell me something different…
