Making a career change to being a senior data analyst. Coming from a retail accounting background with self-taught and mentored SQL, Power Bi, and Tableau. As someone with a background in the military, is it worth it to try to go back to the government as a tax analyst or senior tax analyst for the Dept of the Treasury? I'm wondering if I'll have an edge in getting hired as I've been at the GS-13 level before I left the military and I'm hoping I can use that time in service to add to a pension time requirement in the government.

Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I also have my AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert, hoping to eventually get the Data Analytics Cert later. What are my chances of finding a role with another company that'll let me work in BI/data analytics and build up my skill at the same time? Been thinking of leaving ACN.

I’m currently a sales development rep and I’ve been with the company for almost 11 months. I’m interested in making a lateral move into sales recruiting or Account management preferable within the company but open to outside because (1) I don’t feel like I can be successful in this role and (2) the base pay is very low and not competitive enough to live in SF.
