No good answer but can do things that might help and some would need district and admin. assistance/decision making.....
Better ventilation in clinic and/or the entire school
Better filters (hepa filters) in clinic/or entire school
Only 1 student in clinic at a time
Teacher has to call ahead prior to sending student to clinic - unless an emergency
Stagger routine medication times
Close clinic for short period during lunch to deal with diabetic students - stagger times;clean clinic before
Routine cleaning of clinic during the day
Student washes hands on entry and exit from clinic
Masks available for student/nurse depending on symptoms of student
Appropriate PPE available
Designate a room for social isolation based on symptoms
Well my district decided kids can't come into my health office so they got a table and out plexiglass on it for me to put that the doorway. I am to do most of my care in the classroom I think... I haven't gotten the directive yet but violating HIPPA I'm pretty sure it's still not allowed. So this will be fun.
