When talking about google classroom/schoology/canvas, talk about really thinking through the organization part. It's super frustrating to change up the organizational style partway through the year. For some, posting things in weekly folders works, for others it is better to organize things by units or chapters. Just posting every single assignment with no organizational strategy is also frustrating from the student perspective. Also, I like to use flippity for turning google sheet info into games for students. There are matching/memory games, jeopardy style games, sorting games, and so much more. Super useful tool for engaging activities.
Flipgrid is great. Kids can also use it to organize all the videos they have made into a portfolio. They can also easily share a link or QR code so other people outside the organization can view their video. Can be used as a standalone or integrated into canvas or other LMS.
I would think anything that is related to quizzing, like Kahoot, Gimkit, or Quizlet.
I would include how to use a platform like zoom effectively. Just a gut feeling that some schools will continue to use it and eliminate snow days.
That has already been announced at our school for next year 😥

I have liked using Nearpod, Quizizz, and Polleverywhere lately. Great for bell ringers. My biggest suggestion is making time to try the sites out before hand. I found a great Nearpod and previewed it, but I had no idea how to use the data page at the end to see some of the great info it gave for feedback.
