BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

Not sure what you do now but you might consider switching practice groups? I went from commercial litigation to l&e and it is 100x more interesting!
I’m in south Florida but about to relocate to central florida. L&e just always has interesting facts and moves much quicker than general commercial litigation. Labor arbitration’s are especially great because there’s no discovery! And the stakes are generally much less intense than general litigation
DM me if you want advice on the OAG!
OP here: I would also be open to consider working for a county or city. What I want is to get the experience that big law associates usually lack — and to take a break from the pressures. I also want to do more interesting work; hence the mention of con law and civil rights.
Thoughts on whether it is realistic to move from public positions to big law firms are also appreciated. Trying to gauge whether my leaving big law for these things means I would be done with big law forever.
