Anyone heard of YipitData? Thinking of applying there. Curious about their product, culture, and comp. Glassdoor seems suspicious
NY Investment Management Tax is apparently hiring again at all levels. DM if interested. Can use the referral bonus.
I currently work at a firm that pays above market. 12 YOE, people transformation ( culture, not ERP/tech implementation) background. Current total comp is about $140-150k, plus $20k unvested equity. Is this a reasonable salary expectation for my next role: $165-$180 total comp annually, something like: $150k base, 25% bonus, + $30k equity, $25k cash sign on to replace what I’m walking away from in outstanding equity and expected bonus payout for 2021. Is anyone able to provide a salary range for experienced hire Manager position, Rev Cycle Transformation practice at Deloitte (MBA, 10YOE - 6 years consulting 4 years industry)
If you apply as a team, both should get the same salary right? I feel like ADs make more on average though.
My agency asked me for work examples from previous experience that they used in landing a new client. This is a first for me. Anyone else experience this. Did you get a commission or any bonus?
Anyone from Databricks Professional services? Looking for info around hierarchy, WLB & total comp.
So I received an offer that is +45k putting my total salary at 170 as a senior and I tried counter offering but my partner said to me that money will always be there but that I can’t buy connections and growth. I don’t understand the mindset behind this? Isn’t more money today worth more than more money tomorrow?
Are there great Product Management exit opps for Big Tech or something comparable within Chicago and not only the West Coast? Most of the great comp packages I’ve seen are out there and so wanted to get some input if there are 200k+ total comp options here. Currently have 4 yoe, 2 in strategy, and a MS degree if that helps. Thank you!
What is the salary range for a 1st year senior in EY FSO advisory for NY and Chicago markets? Any help appreciated.
Has anyone had offers from multiple consulting firms? Was there any major deciding factor besides compensation? Having a difficult time deciding which is the best move for me. Any advice would help. Thanks.
Any insight/advice on tax M&A opportunities at consulting firms? I’m a SA & not ready to go industry and cap my salary out yet, so I’m curious about professional service firms other than PA. Specifically concerned about whether learning opportunities are equivalent and which consulting firms have quality tax practices.
What’s your price to quit right now expressed as a percentage of your total comp? Curious how this differs across firms.
Has anyone made the move to Uber, specifically the operations and logistics manager position? Received and offer with less salary (but decent equity) and trying to weigh options and lifestyle.
I am a brand, digital strategy director available for a consulting gig. UX qual researcher and service design experience. Experience in CPG, healthcare and technology. Any suggestions or leads?
Does your School Board have a policy on Therapy Dogs in the classroom? If so, can you tell me what it is?
Cold calling agencies. Is it weird to google/LinkedIn a specific person (HOP, say) and dial by name, directly call them? Agencies are massive and receptionists (if there is one) won’t direct you to a role. They want a name. For freelancers trying to network, this seems to be the only way in if you have no contacts there. Any thoughts or advice appreciated.
Just needed a place to vent. I really don’t know how I’m going to make it through this week of work. My partner and I got into a huge falling out and might be breaking up for good... right before our anniversary... The only things I feel right now is sadness and regret, wishing I was a better partner and making sure they felt heard and appreciated. Ahhhhhh please let this be a warning/lesson learned to those who may be unintentionally taking someone very special for granted.
I’m on an engagement with another associate. I’m fully booked (upwards of 60 hours a week every week of July), while the other associate hasn’t had billable hours for the last 3 months... engagement team has some changes they need to get pushed through to the wps, and I’m the better choice to push those updates (have more experience in wps and just better in general). But the other associate has availability and just gets paid to do nothing. Should I bring that up to someone? How and to whom?
Just wrapped up my MBA, background is in Tax Accounting. Looking for a change, any advice on what career path to take?
How much do non-MBA Senior Associates and Consultants typically make (base + bonus segmented if possible)?
Hello everyone! Nice to meet you all. I have 6 years of experience across Deloitte & EY and currently studying for the GMAT. Targeting R2 LBS and R1 INSEAD (I’m based in London :) ). I’m currently 30 but very motivated to make a switch to MBB post business school. Should I be worried about my age? Do MBBs prefer younger candidates? More on my experience - working within the Consulting practice at D, doing Tech Transformation work. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all :)
Everyone keeps talking about regretting not being a SWE at FAANG and earning 250k+ straight away. If you aren’t at MBB, there is a very good chance you would also have not got into FAANG
Any thoughts on JW vs Renaissance Esmerelda in Palm Springs? Looking to use some points and suite nights. Likely to just be by the pool, ordering room service, spa (if it’s open)
Need help with a decision and would love to hear from some experienced consultants. I have an offer to join Accenture for: - $145k salary - 5% bonus - 6% match (after vest) - 15% discounted stock purchase program At EY current -> FY21 - $100k -> $115k (est) - $5k -> $5k (est) - 1.5% match But I seriously love what I do at EY... like I think it’s very cool. I’m afraid I won’t enjoy Accenture that much and I feel I’m really making a name for myself at EY. Please help. I am coming up on 3yoe
Need to transfer over 100k Amex points to either a gift card or hotel/airlines miles. What’s the most lucrative conversion ? What have other done.
Anyone have any Hilton corporate discount codes?
Big 4 consultant(joined after masters) making 100k base salary in SF. Trying to decide whether to join MBB, stick with current firm without MBA, or stick with current firm and get an MBA after 2 years
Should I pursue MBA if I already have MBB & PE experience? Current MBB and heading into large-cap PE this year, always fancied a MBA experience as a kid but increasingly uncertain about its value-add in terms of learning / personal development
