About 5 min, but was precheck and had one of the last flights of the evening. It really depends on when your flight is.

Thanks! Delta says you only have to get to LGA 45 min. before your flight, but I wasn’t sure if that included going through security.
Last week, it's getting more and more crowded again.
Very quick. Caught a 6pm flight on Thursday. I have clear but there was barely a line
I fly delta LGA frequently and it has always been (pre-covid and during) 20 minutes or fewer from security to the gate with a carry-on

Update: Delta/LGA this morning was terrible, not what I remember from pre-Covid flights.
The security line took 25 minutes, and Precheck was not open. The only way to get a faster line was if you had a Clear membership. They were offering a 14-day free trial to Clear, but I didn’t take it because I thought I had plenty of time. Then I discovered I had to take a bus to my gate.
I ran to where the bus was, and realized I had left my jacket at security. Ran back to get it and then had to run down what seemed like 6 blocks of ramps to get to the bus. It was full of people and didn’t leave for several minutes.
When i got to the destination, I had to run up another giant ramp. I got to my gate 15 minutes before departure time, but it turned out they were only halfway through the boarding process. The people behind me had a baby and a dog, and nobody told them they could have boarded early until they were in the jetway, dragging baby, dog, and two giant bags through the crowd.
The captain pleaded with people to sit down faster as the crowd kept boarding. The guy across the aisle from me arrived at the last minute, and had a dog on his lap. The guy behind him had a dog on his lap too. All the seats were full.
The plane left late and felt like a traveling circus. What a stressful mess.
