I heard from a PPMD once that M is where they’ll “correct” your salary range to match your peers, whereas SC and C have more mechanical pay increases and are more heavily influenced by where you begin.

This was in the commercial side, but if true I would assume it’d be more than what the SC’s get of our target MBA programs, which I think is like 135-140 (or whatever). May want to ask around about that.
