I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Starting us off with an important tip: Your resume is a marketing document, not an autobiography. It should include relevant jobs, responsibilities, and perhaps most importantly, achievements. Where you can quantify an accomplishment or just talk up a major project you led at work or in an internship, do so. The point is to make the hiring manager think, “Wow, I need to talk to this person! They seem like a good fit!”

Those who do financial modeling at work: for case study in interviews, is it bad practice to submit a model based on a premade template, assuming that I understand all formulas and incorporate my own reasonable assumptions? For reference, I don’t work with fundamental modeling (quant background) so I needed to get a template to teach myself. TIA
