Does anyone have helpful hints on how to manage the interview process in terms of timing? I have 5 opportunities going in various stages. Two of them are in 3rd interview stage, and a “perfect role” just popped out of nowhere from a recruiter in early stage. I realize that companies have very different timelines too, but how do you all queue up your personal timeline to be able to consider multiple offer(s) if it leads to that?

We have an employee who is legally an adult but does have a legal guardian. The employee comes to HR numerous times a month with questions, which in itself is fine....However, every time we speak with him, his guardian then calls to question us about the conversation.

Are we legally responsible for speaking to his guardian?

I’m 21. Maybe I just got lucky, but working in Apple retail was an incredible experience. I was only there for 7 months, but it was enough time to know it’s a place filled with love and laughter. Walking in other Apple Store’s I can feel the energy and I genuinely believe my store was unique. Managers cared and coworkers were connected. I’m going to miss talking about Apple with people, but definitely not helping indecisive assholes try on 30 different Apple Watch bands; they can suck my balls.

Associates that don’t wfh and work at the firm: do you keep your door open or closed? I usually keep mine closed to focus (the marketing dept is right in front of my office). Plus partners and senior associates will knock whenever they need me no matter how busy I look. Other juniors also have their doors shut. I’m asking because a partner once said that it’s best to have your door open when you’re a junior.
