How do you come up with your labs to make sure they are aligned with the unit.? I feel like I am doing well on EOC scores but I feel like my class is a drag because we just drill concepts and the labs… more

Are we seriously going to administer the biology EOC in December?

First time teaching bio here, I've done the DNA extraction lab. Any other cool apps out there?

Anyone here doing standards-based grading? I piloted it with my AP Bio course and liked it, want to extend to my freshman bio course next year. Curious to hear about how others have found success!


What is your favorite way to teach population ecology? My classes will be starting that next week and I am looking for new ideas.
