Anything is better than Deloitte. I’ve been in a few places and Deloitte had the worst culture. Well being isn’t important what do ever, and everyone is quick to point fingers instead of finding ways to not repeat issues.
I’m shocked so many people consider Deloitte. Can’t speak for the rest but never had the same issues at PwC
Used to work in big 4. Many folks left to go to salesforce. Definitely more chill. It’s a whale and you can basically coast as one of those small fish that swim next to the whale and eat whats on it.
Be careful though, it has a slower promotion cycle and many times people burn out from consulting to go to greener pastures of industry, but when they get there they realize they are actually hungry and the mediocrity kills them and they leave again
Basically.
My spouse works at Salesforce and I work at D . I can asssure you the culture and WLB at Salesforce is better
It depends on role & leadership. Sales roles are more pressure than Deloitte Partner roles & 50% of your comp is dependent upon exceeding quota. Professional Service roles are less demanding than at Deloitte as the utilization targets are lower. The consulting work here is more implementation oriented and much less management consulting or true transformation. In general, Salesforce PS has nowhere near the relationship strength that Deloitte, PwC, Accenture and others have and you’re much more likely to be working with IT than business sponsors.
