I've been more proactive on LinkedIn recently with commenting and interacting with other LinkedIn users. I need some advice on posting and re posting content on LinkedIn. I reposted an article recently about Millennials retiring at a young age. I found the article interesting, but after re posting it I was thinking to myself how does this apply to me as a job seeker looking for a consulting position. Should I be re posting articles from companies such as the Big 4 and other analytics companies?

I am a terrible wife! It’s my husbands birthday today (39th) and I did not even find time to get him a gift. We came out of state for an extended weekend with my young toddler as a kind of birthday treat, but I realize that I am just not making enough efforts. I just got him a slice of carrot cake and made a super simple breakfast. I had to put this down somewhere! I almost feel like all I am doing is running behind this little energy bunny all day all night. Sorry, vent over.

Which recruiters would you recommend reaching out to for moving from a finance at an IB to consultancy firm?

I work in a hedge fund; but every month, I spend half the month making presentations that senior members of my team have to give to top management. These presentations are mostly about general group strategy and not about the market or investments. These strategy decks are major time drain and I spend 10-12 hours daily doing turns on these decks and collecting feedback from the team. Is this a common experience ? I’m worried I will lose whatever technical skills I have.
