I used to be really bad about not prioritizing my prayer life. But now I pray & talk to God all the time. I’ve seen what prayer does-it can change the trajectory of your life. God tells us to make our prayers & petitions known to Him & to pray without ceasing. What happens when we pray is absolutely incredible.The Holy Spirit within us interprets our groans & our prayers to our advocate Jesus Christ who petitions God the Father on our behalf. The perfect triune God hears my prayers and yours!

In the past I’ve wrongly thought that forgiveness brings restoration of relationships. But reconciliation requires everyone involved to respond -which is beyond our control. Forgiveness says I’m canceling that debt- it’s my marker & I’m tearing it up. I’m putting myself in Gods hands -Justice comes from Him. We mistakenly think that forgiveness is weakness as if we just capitulated. Forgiveness isn’t a sign of weakness- It takes strength to forgive. God tells us to forgive.

Dear Lord - help us to be faithful in our prayers and petitions - especially for those we know who are unsaved. So that they may come to know you as Lord and Savior and share in eternal life.

And for those of us who are your children, please give us wisdom and discernment so that we may know and do your will. Thank you Father- all praise and glory be to your name. Amen.

Don’t ever forget we are children of the Most High, the Alpha and the Omega, the King of Kings and the Creator of the Universe! May God help us to live out our lives in such a way that brings glory and honor to Him.

Incredible- we are not left the same. The Word of God is life changing.

Life is not always easy and we all battle against sin. What a blessing to know that when we do sin and falter we have an advocate in Christ Jesus.
