God tells us to make our prayers & petitions known to Him & to pray without ceasing. What happens when we pray is absolutely incredible.The Holy Spirit within us interprets our groans & our prayers to our advocate Jesus Christ who petitions God the Father on our behalf. The perfect triune God hears my prayers and yours!

Have 50k in a checking account at a local bank getting no returns. I like having liquid assets since I support currently myself & girlfriend and any unexpected expenses my mother & younger brother have. Any advice how to calculate what I should keep on reserve vs. invest + learn about consequences of pulling investments early (more tax, fees, etc.). How much parental leave does your company offer to employees? Please include location, size of company and type of business. We are a SaaS company in NYC with 60 employees. We give 16 weeks paid for “primary caregivers “ and 6 weeks for “secondary “ caregivers. I want to advocate for everyone to get at least 12 weeks.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

I work in a self contained classroom. A parent of one of my kids wants to come and volunteer after learning all my staff quit. Can I allow her to do this? Admin has no idea and I'm not sure with FERPA laws.. advice, suggestions? What can I have her do if she can come?

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Stairs are almost 10 inches high with nothing underneath and I’m worried that he might slip and fall in between the stairs. How much stock do you put on benefits? I have two offers with stark differences in benefits. Job 1: role I want, but benefit sucks (2 weeks paternity leave, 20% coinsurance). Job 2: role is okay but higher level and great benefits (16 weeks paternity, 0% coinsurance, 5 more days of vacation). Total comp is the same though. I wonder if I should just focus on role but Job 2 is a large company, so I can move around after 2-3 years I’d expect. Thoughts?
