Mechanical engineers from UT Dallas have designed a 3D printed femur that could help doctors prepare for surgeries to repair bones and develop treatments for bone tumors. The possibilities of additive manufacturing are only just beginning to form themselves. Share an innovation you've seen in the recent past in the engineering space! I'd love to keep myself updated!!

Two years ago, I couldn't find a single job so I did internships. Really good ones at that. But they were both unpaid and one even had me travelling to another state where I had to start from scratch and work at a cafe to meet ends. Today, it's still just as hard to find a job. Do internships not mean anything anymore? Is it considered 'experience' at all?

What’s a common misconception that people have of Mechanical Engineering?

It's my first year as a mechanical engineer and I've been having a good time so far. However, there's this part of me that feels drawn to doing bigger things, being part of teams that are fueled by innovation. Is a good way to achieve this to take part in competitions and clubs? If yes, where can I start?
