Does anyone use a design file comparison tool that they can’t live without? I have ADD and need help proofing my own work before submission. Something that will work with PowerPoint without converting to PDF first, if possible.

so i’ve been freelancing and was talking about going staff until covid hit and they paused hiring. so i took a job elsewhere, lower pay, making graphics for social media. i’m prioritizing stability since i support my parents. but if you were me, what would be your plan? i was a little bummed by the role, i don’t mind production work but i was kind of in talks for art director and yeah, would it be bad to leave my new job in 4 months or so supposedly when things get better?

I'm volunteering in a book project with a group. Now others are making design suggestions like using a specific painting as book cover/dedication page. As a designer would you accept such suggestion?

Solo designer in a consulting firm of around 50ppl . My +1 is a head of departement that is not linked to design. He’s gathering briefing, discussing money and planning then throw at me work to do « asap ». Results is often quickly pushed, and poor quality of work. On top of that my knowledges and skills are doubted? Is this usual in consulting firm ? How should I deal with that ?

Hello! What are the most important features of a brand framework / strategy that you need when creating a visual identity? I.e. brand personality? Attributes? The category overall - that you would get from a brand strategist. Do you get “briefed?”

For ux designers who work closely with e-commerce, does it make sense for an e commerce site to have a testimonial page? Or should the product reviews take place of that?
