Does anyone else feel like you're in the generation that's stuck between the "good ol'days" of the 80s-90s and the future (aka holograph and the metaverse)? It's such a weird place to be. I appreciate the tech but I miss the simpler times of listening to walkmans and playing solitaire on my PC. Am I resisting change?

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. Partner keeps telling me (2nd year) that I need to get better at using staff like paralegals to reduce client costs.....but doesn't realize that the only paralegal allocated to my group has been with the firm for 30 years and bills 1.5x higher than me.
