2nd year in and having gone straight from undergrad to banking, cant imagine what it feels like to have a “normal job” (i.e. 9-5, weekend free, no work on vacation, can unplug completely off work)

First day in industry and go to look at my time sheet.... What? There’s only one code I need to put my time to if I’m working? I can submit it weekly? And I don’t need to give at least 2 weeks advance for PTO when I’m requesting it? Oh me oh my why did I not make this move sooner!

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I just put an offer on a place and it was accepted. I’m also switching jobs before closing. Should I give everyone a head’s up since they may need to redo the numbers. Same salary, so no problem with DTI.
