Has anybody feel like using a recruiter to help you find the right job has been easy? I used a recruiter that has helped me land a great paying job this year.

Wow! Congratulations and I’m glad that it worked for you. I never thought to reach out to a recruiter. I didn’t think recruiters worked in the customer service hospitality space but maybe I’m wrong.

Thank you 😊
Yes, they should help with the hospitality industry. You should try to research and see if you find anything. It’s definitely worth a try. Good luck.

So glad to hear about a success story. I have worked with a number of recruiters (paid by the employer) and never got a job I was willing to accept (best I had was an offer that was a position below my then-current position, and two below what I was interviewing for). Also have tried temp agencies, and only got one or two assignments, and nothing that turned into anything permanent.

I would caution everyone to NEVER pay for a recruiter or anything similar. Those tend to be scams.

I’m seriously contemplating taking a software development boot camp. For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? I noticed the universities are a bit more expensive but is it worth the price to have a university on your resume or does it not really matter?
