Offer help. I have 3 years in consulting and make 140k. I was laid off from ACN Strategy as an analyst and able to sell myself hard to another company. ACN wants me back, and will match my salary, but I am also getting offers from Firms for around 210 from different “boutique” consultancy and some T2. Should I go back to ACN, make manager and look for an exit? Should I join Deloitte Strategy as a SC make manager and exit? Should I go to one of the boutique as a manager for 210 base?

Ex-Accenture (doing internal PM analyst work, laid off due to COVID but great relationships there/eligible for rehire), have two offers - just started as market research analyst in the marketing team in pharma biz market access or a new offer as a PM at data SaaS. I want to get back into generalist management project-based consulting, maybe even at Accenture. What would be better?

I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Hi all, new analyst who started in August. My project has gone okay so far. I’m living at home but unfortunately it affects my concentration a bit. I’ve saved some money and am debating moving out. My fear is that I won’t have good job security in these times and who knows when I could get fired. Is it worth taking a lease with these fears? Fiscally, I have about 15k cash, 15k in investments. Biggest liability is paying my own car insurance(400), crashed twice..:

Is anyone aware of where I may be able to find projects that I can do project support on? Money is not as much of a concern as keeping my skills sharp and staying busy. Hey friends, I was laid off (due to COVID) from Accenture a month ago as an analyst. I had a pretty good network of SM, MD and managers that I talked to frequently before. However once I was laid off, I got depressed and haven’t reached out to any of them. I feel horrible but I’m trying to push myself out of my depression and make some positive changes. My fear is that at this point, I’m just a number and that they don’t care. It’s causing me anxiety and I’m telling myself it’s too late now.

Deloitte tax projecting double digit (percentage) decrease to top and bottom line for FY21 - at least our office / region. Based on that, layoffs seem necessary. Fortunate that the folks laid off hit the market first; if the revenue decrease is truly that significant, have to imagine all other firms will be making the same difficult decisions.

I see a lot of people condemning others for being critical or harsh towards Leadership at their agency, and I want to know why? We should be holding our Leaders to the highest standards and not feel bad about it, because they do the same to us and we are the ones being laid off or passed over for promotions/raises when we don’t meet their expectations, not them. Because indirectly when we fail, oftentimes it is more of a failure of Leadership than just one individual.
