Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. Ive got an offer frm a company offering me 7LPA(micro company) nd the joining's on next monday.
My Last CTC is 6.5
There budget was upto 10 when i asked but feels like they playing me for my desperation to start working.

And I am expecting an offer from a bigger company and the joining's in the month of Feb.
Dnno about the offer ill get just yet.

You think its a good idea to join the micro company for 2 months and then leave to join the bigger one?

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!

How much should I ask from ACN for a consultant level role (L-9). Also, at what exp do ACN hire for L7 roles ?

I’m having a hard time understanding the salary /TC ranges for mid- to senior-level strategy positions in the Denver area (10-15 YOE). They seem to vary a lot, and are broadly low vs. other markets (mid $100k-low $200k vs TC closer to $300-$400k+ on the coasts). Any observations? Which companies would you look at for more substantial comp outside consulting?

For instance, they contribute half of your contribution up to a maximum of 3%. Before any tax incentives etc.
