All the time. What’s stopping me:
1- waiting to get my green card so I can insure myself and my future family 🤷🏽♀️
2- the available job opportunities that will allow me sustain my current standard of living. If it was just me, I’m sure I can manage. However, I’m not sure how sustainable it is to raise a family in Nigeria anymore considering basic things like good healthcare, security, good education, etc. I know people are doing it already but it will require a level of financial investment and security I haven’t attained yet
3- it doesn’t feel like it’s time yet though I plan to some day. I’m conscious that the grass always appears greener so not trying to make a hasty move
feel very similar to this. still aim to go home tho. first I want to get finances in a solid place to handle any problems that may arise. that may take time (school loans) so maybe in 10 years or so. definitely dont want to only go/move when I'm retired
There are no jobs that will allow me to maintain my standard of living given my level/experience.
I’m Nigerian, they don’t make that process any easier than getting a job 🤷🏾♀️
The heat is verrryyy muchhhh!
Not really. Entire immediate family (parents and siblings) and plethora of extended family is here. My wife is American, so probably not
