I've heard good things about the culture at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH). Seen comments from STRH users here. Can you share more about the senior bankers there and how they relate to staff? T…
What are the odds: I randomly clicked at a profile shown here on the networking bar. Upon checking their LinkedIn, it turns out they used to work at the boutique company I’m currently interviewing for (same role!) and left just a month back for a role in industry. Is it OK to reach out to them on here or on LinkedIn and connect with them? Please advise 🙏
New project is in Albuquerque, cool city or nah?
What’s your price to quit right now expressed as a percentage of your total comp? Curious how this differs across firms.
Have any of you guys ever rolled onto a client that you just hate? Not necessarily the work but the people themselves… 😩 how do you deal with this?
New Account Director here. Had 2+ years of supervisor experience prior. Any tips as I transition to this new role? What key things make the positions different? Would love to hear from all disciplines
Does anyone have any study tips or can suggest a helpful study tool for the HRCI SPHR exam? I used BenchPrepHR to help me prep and took a few practice test. I took my exam last week and unfortunately did not pass. Any tips would be helpful to help me prepare to retake in a few months.
Do folks think 100K promotion for Bonvoy Amex/Chase will come around soon or should I just bite the bullet at 75K promo?
I got an offer today from a firm that’s fairly new and has about 13 attorneys. Only two of the attorneys are women, and they’re both quite a bit older. I don’t think the firm has a maternity leave policy. How do I find out? I’m a 26-year-old and want to start a family soon? But I don’t want them to know that quite yet.… Advice?
Looking for a new office chair at home. Any suggestions? Two key qualities: comfortable and adjustable Price is very flexible. Much rather pay more for a nicer chair than get a deal. Thanks!
When do the layoffs start?
What are the requirements for Marriott’s new lifetime platinum premiere status? Thought had it with 998 total nights and 15 years of platinum but app shows as ‘regular’ lifetime platinum elite
Has anyone ever used the SkyBaby for flying? What are your thoughts? Me and the 6mo old will be flying solo cross country. It’s not our first rodeo, but the last one (when he was 4mo) was pretty miserable. I had the boba wrap on the way there and it was just way too hot and confining. The baby bjorn on the way back was better but he still got pretty squirmy so I ended up taking him out and holding him for 4 hours. And tickets are way too expensive for his own seat.
I have been working in HR since 2004. I have a bachelor's degree but it is not in HR, it's in a medical/technical field. My entire career in HR has been on the job training and I have worked besides people with HR degrees doing the same things they do. What extra skills do you think your HR degree gives you that you wouldn't have without the degree?
All clients need to explain conference call etiquette when WFH to their employees. So far I’ve heard people washing dishes, talking to their spouse and kids, making lunch, and playing with pets...
So this new well being rewards program.....exactly how do you earn points that will actually add up to anything close to what the previous program offered?
