I wouldn’t say it’s a red flag per se, but recruiters might not know how to navigate it, which will prevent it from getting to creative hiring managers who do. I also find having my own domain name to be a huge asset. I’d be curious if you tested it, applying for some jobs with a website and others with your behance and see which does better (if any). But just my two cents! The job market is brutal right now so anything that might be holding you back is smart to look into
There is a very famous and super awarded cco whose portfolio is hosted on a blogspot. :) Don’t worry about it!
this is a perfect example because you only can get away with this with a super awarded portfolio. If that's not your work, don't do it.
UPDATE: For those wondering, I switched to Framer and best decision I've ever made. Getting much better response from peeps.
Behance still does get me freelance gigs though!
