I connected with a vc that has $1b under management and I am exploring a principal / venture partner level role with them. Recruiter ghosting? My partner interviewed for a lateral position with a mid-sized firm in mid-December. Went through whole process, multiple interviews, etc. (see below)

I’m working in a large fund; market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge. I’m conflicted about applying for a lateral transfer and losing out on a promotion. Will I be missing out a promotion or should I negotiate a promotion as part of my application to this role ?

Does PwC IFS has SM1 and SM2 levels or it is just SM. Recruiter told me he never heard levels/tiers with in a position (Senior Manager)

I’ve been racking up a ton of Etihad Guest points (~300k) but have been having a hard time spending them bc the Etihad Reward chart is dynamic 🙄🙄. Any suggestions on how to spend those points? They expire in a year.
