Hi all, i would like to introduce myself. I am new graduate of mechanical engineering (UK). Looking to enter the industry. It been really difficult for the past couple of month getting a job. I would really appreciate , if i could get referrals from people in Engineering companies or tech companies. i could work for. I am not tied to any country however i would need a visa sponsorship. I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

Have an interview coming up with Amex for project management roles. Recruiter said they are considering me for multiple open roles? Can anyone give me some insight into this? There’s a behavioral and American Express technical interview

Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.

Is there a church that is popular with people in advertising?

Yeah. So glad you made this fishbowl. I’ve considered leaving this industry in general... i just find it hard to find good ppl. “Bad company corrupts goods morals” (might be butchering).

The thing prayed for became a praise report that’s now back 2 a prayer request. God help me! Grateful for the shift but don’t yet feel I’m walking in my calling. How 2 remain steadfast in the journey?
