What are some positives and negatives of your firm's expense policy

Any organization tips for staying on track of all your cases and assignments? I am struggling with managing all of my cases and feel like I spend half my day preparing to-do lists, etc. just to stay organized. I have only been practicing a few months but have been delegated a fairly large case load bc my firm is so busy. I feel like I’m drowning but mostly because I can’t seem to stay organized.

I'm an experienced HRBP who's looking for some career advancement advice. I'm currently studying for my SPHR and looking to take the leap to HR Director roles. While I'm a strong HRBP, I've yet to manage a team. And while I train managers on people leadership skills, I myself, haven't had a chance to flex those muscles. Those in HR leadership, should I apply for HR Director roles even though I haven't managed a team?

Got an offer for moving to a boutique and was excited until I got the benefit info. Currently at $140, DTO, 12 holidays, high chance of decent bonus. New role is $160k, 24 days PTO, 8 holidays, only utilization bonus but good size.
The change is PTO/holidays is a huge deal for me but not sure if the salary makes up for it. They aren't budging on anything which to me is not a good sign. Really torn on what to do

I’ve been seeing this a lot more recently and just had to make a thread about it. I refuse to believe that anyone on here has actually been asked to work a 100hr week. People come onto this thread with legitimate questions and concerns and I just see people trying to scare them out of public which inevitably makes it worse for everyone else who sticks around. Even an 80 hour week is debatable and that is the absolute top. Stop trying to be an attention getter. We work, but not 24/7.

Does anyone take day dates with their spouse/partner? By the time I get to bed, even on the weekends, I’m spent. I wonder if it would be more enjoyable to spend that time together during the day.
