I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

Come cleans and say you did the presentation prior to finding this out. If they regional sales leader faults you for it then you probably won't like working for someone like that anyway.

Say that you think they’d be the best fit for that product plus another one or upsell- instead of keeping to a 1 year plan, sell on 2 or 3! You’ve spent time building the business case, now tell them about new features in the upcoming year and hook

I think you should be honest and maybe even try to find ways to improve what they already had.

How confident were you that you landed a job after the second interview? My friends tell me the fact that I had a second interview is pretty much a guarantee that I will be selected. I am not so sure. So I thought I would check with the fish bowl.

Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets).
