It depends on which part of the city you want to move to… some may not require guarantor if you can prove you’re a good tenant. Also utilize IG, FB & TikTok a lot of realtors post what is available and what’s coming up. Also, I suggest make a genuine connection with a realtor, you can get access to apartment listings before they become available to the public.

No benefit, really.
If you wait until summer and it's anything like last summer, the apartments usually just go to whoever bids the highest rent. Having a great credit score won't matter when others also have a great credit score.
