Anyone familiar with the areas of McKinsey that do work on nonprofit/refugee work? What qualifications are needed? I’ve done pro bono related work at Deloitte, not sure how to do that full time.

Trust me- there are teachers that are really struggling with dangerous students that admin won’t do anything about and because behaviors are so horrific you can barely get lessons in. I’ve been there done that! (A vertebrae sitting on top another vertebrae as a result of a student admin turned a blind eye on!!!!!). I have found my piece of heaven, now, at a different school in a different county and I’m truly going to miss my babies while off next week! I love this little group (10), and I love walking into school every morning!!!

I am glad you have found a place you love. It makes everyday so much better
Comments like that also puzzle me, to be honest. It's like social media has developed where everyone has to talk like they're carrying some great burden all the time and they desperately need a break. Just live in the moment and enjoy what you can from each day. If you're that focused on a break, something's wrong, figure out what it is and fix it!

Exactly. Although there are days where you feel totally wiped, I love my job.
I'm also in a good place career-wise, but can sympathize with her in some ways. That teacher sounds burned out so I hope she can get the support she needs.

I know teacher burnout is real. I feel sad for the teachers who face it on a daily basis.
