Had a third interview with CEO of tech startup last week. Now the HR manager emails me saying she wants me to 'hop on a call' with the CFO tomorrow. I already interviewed with him for the second interview. I'm not sure what to expect, it doesn't make sense that I would have another interview with him but I'm not sure what else it would be. Any ideas?
Client’s CEO wants more earned media but his team has turned down every interview or guest editorial opportunity I’ve brought them. Usually the excuse is that they don’t feel qualified to talk on the topics even though they are. Any good strategies for getting them all on the same page and comfortable with media opportunities?
A little while ago I asked for advice when being interviewed by a CEO. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted. I got the job!

Was just reached out to by a headhunter for a growth role (“directly under the Founder/CEO”) working at a Enterprise / Consumer Tech firm. 2B revenue, founder is worth 10B+. This is my first time being reached out to a role like this (1 YoE) - seems pretty interesting, but I’m a little nervous - what are some questions you’d ask? What sorts of questions do you think I can expect from the interviews later on?
Interviewed for a senior technical position at a startup (about 50 employees). During the interview the CEO spent about 20 minutes answering my questions. There was no discussion about my technical skills or experience. They emailed that they are working on an offer. Is the interview process a redflag? The only technical screening that happened was the HR lead's 10 minute phone call.
Just found out who is interviewing me tomorrow, and one of them is the CEO. Never had a CEO interview me before. Anything extra I should be prepping for? This is a 1k+ person agency, not a small shop.
Someone gave me this advise and was hoping to hear the bowls feedback: The best way to get an interview at a startup is to email the founder/ceo about the role and let them refer you to HR. Good advice or bad advice?
So I had an interview with a company (3 rounds actually) which went pretty well. I even rearranged my schedule for last minute interviews because it’s the job that I really want. My recruiter said that they all love me & even wanted me to speak to the CEO. Then they needed a few days to speak with another candidate. After a few days, I was told that they needed another day because the other candidate couldn’t interview with the department lead. I’m really worried now. How should I take this?
Final interview with the ceo on Friday. The meeting invite says finance discussion instead of interview unlike the last interview meeting invites. Does this mean the ceo will offer me the job on the spot ?
Had a final round of interview on Monday. Just have one more conversation left with CEO but haven’t heard back yet. Does this mean they’re ghosting new and not giving me the bad news? They told me they’ll reach out by end of the week and today is technically the last day of the week.
Interviewed with a senior income tax acct role at Industry. Made it to the final round with CEO. It’s been three weeks. Followed up with HR, HR told me it’s been slow getting corporate feedbacks ( CEO). Followed up with CEO, he told me to check status with recruiter. But they just refreshed the post about the job yesterday on various site- means they passed on me ?? I thought the interview went very well. :(
Crowd sourcing some help from those who have gone independent and might consider someday expanding (or are dreaming about it): If you had the opportunity to interview the CEO of a small (but successful) boutique consulting firm for an hour or two, what would be the most valuable thing you'd want to learn from them? (promise to come back with responses)
