I am considering two offers at the moment. One is with KPMG as an entry level tax Business Analyst and the other is with New York Life as a Representative in the Service department. I am highly interested in the role with KPMG and the opportunity for advancement there is but the pay is very very low. New York Life offered me 10k more so I am leaning on accepting their offer. Guess I am just looking for some insight or career guidance, any help is appreciated.

Hi all, trying to go from a BDR to a Biz/Financial Analyst (almost got my masters in finance). Just got hired at another BDR role and I’ve been applying for business analyst roles. Should I take it or keep waiting?

Just made manager at a big 4 with experience in IT audit, Internal Audit, and SOX mainly. Considering leaving as I’ve started feeling more and more burnt out. But I have no idea what my options are. I’m considering trying to change fields completely versus finding an industry job related to IA, Sox, etc… even if it means taking a step back. What would be something I could change to? A program manager role, business analyst, or something else? Trying to maintain similar salary vs improve WLB.

Should I strive for higher compensation still? Or is this the max I could get in today's market? I can't compromise with the role and domain though.

Can anyone help me with McKinsey recruitment system in India. What is general requirements like YOE, Academics for Business Analyst or Junior associate role. Is it possible for a non MBA to get these roles.
Any knowledge regarding BCG or Bain will be also helpful.

Cons: May not have work life balance
UHG - 19.5, which includes 15% variable
Pros - RPA Technology, Work Life Balance
Cons - Gurgaon Location ( till the time it is work from home, it is great as I want to stay in Bangalore)

I have been working as a business analyst at JNJ, with about 4 years of experience and halfway done with my MBA. I would like to move into a project management role (I have worked on my scrum master certification). I make about 68k a year and I feel like I’m due for a huge pay raise. I have been asking 105k-120k which companies have been open to. Am I asking for the appropriate amount?

Not sure Whats the range is for my role. Glassdoor and other websites show 70 to 90k.
