If a person has been..oh let’s say an operations manager for 12 years, and is seeking a role as ..oh let’s say operations manager at a different company, it’s the same job it’s a different company, and that person applies every freaking time the role opens again (7 times in 9 months) and that person never gets a freaking phone call, is the person to really believe that there is someone else more qualified.. all those freaking times? Help me make it make sense yall!

A lot of companies post fake roles

If they have an opening for the last 9 months it’s a ghost job. Sorry to say it seems so.

Can you find somebody who works at that company? Can they give you a referral and also either the hiring manager‘s name or the recruiter that posted the job? I ask because a recruiter let me know that I was not being sent forward to the next round when I advised her That the job just reposted two hours before she said she was unaware. Then it must’ve “auto reposted“. That may be part of the problem also.

Hi Folks, I'm currently in search of a mentor. I'm a 28y/o MSc grad and starting a Junior Funding Consultant role (writing grant applications for startups) as I'm tired of holding out for an entry level role in ESG/Sustainability - I keep getting rejections despite completing a very wide ranging internship at a renewable energy company. Last year I received an offer at Deloitte Belgium but due to Brexit & VISA delays, we couldn't continue. Now I'm unsure of my career progression & need guidance.

Strategies for getting a job at Wieden + Kennedy:

1. Create a competitive shop that will steal all of their clients in the future, forcing them to acquire you today.
2. Become friends with every person at the agency and have them all refer you on the same day.
3. Just win all of the awards.
4. Start showing up to their office with big ideas, and complain about HR not being able to find you in the system occasionally.

Hello. Quick question about formatting. I have an excel sheet with bunch of negative numbers, but some are percentage values and some are dollar values. Is there a way to make all of them have a parenthesis for being negative while keeping them still percentage and dollar value separately or do I have to target them separately?
