How much can I expect to make in 2nd year at a growing MSP in Ireland? Just booked in my review meeting and I need to know what to ask for. Started at 25k with very little experience and I would say I’ve gone a long way since I started.

How much can I expect to make at 2yoe in a tech procurement role at a growing MSP? My review meeting was just scheduled and I need to know what to ask for!

I work for a start up MSP/cyber security company that is looking to reevaluate the need for any new software to make our Account Management department more efficient. This could be anything from reporting capabilities, streamlined communications, calendar integrations, etc. I was hoping some of you would have recommendations of tools that you use that make your life easier!

How much should an L2 engineer with over 4 years of experience working for an MSP be making in NY metropolitan area? I am jack of all trades working on ESXi, Windows Servers, firewall, switches. I do have a couple of CompTIA certs. I am making somewhere around 90k and I feel I am underpaid. In the last four years I haven’t really went out to interview and get offers as I kind of like my current job. However, I feel as I am leaving money on the table, which I shouldn’t be.

What sales methodology or training works best for selling DevSecOps or Agile consulting services (outsourcing/MSP)?

What are exit opps like for consultants in an MSP?

Hey guy, I need some some guidance. Current AE for an IT MSP provider in a smaller territory. base of $66,600. I have done very well in the area but will end this year at right around $80k after commissions. The commissions are very low, but all residual.
I received an offer from a healthcare compliance company selling their solution. Base is $58,500, closer to a 50/50 split and remote. New salesforce team so a high chance of management. New company countered with extra $10k for 2023 in commiss

Applied to and went through interviews with Financial Services firm I really wanted to work for. Got a verbal offer in June/July and then silence, even after several emails and asking various contacts within the firm to prod HR/check on the status of my offer. Got an email mid-October from a different recruiter within the firm asking if I’m still available as they have a “potential role” for me. I’ve already taken on another role at a mid-size MSP - what to respond?

I have been given an opportunity to take on a Project Coordinator role at my existing company (IT MSP) I'll basically be developing the role at our company. Any advice? How to keep track of various happenings for the many projects we'll have going on at one time? Hi everyone. So my company recently asked me to put together a presentation on moving our IT in house, away from an MSP.

This is something I’ve never been a part of, and would appreciate any and all resources on how to put together the best people and processes to build a companies (~800 employees) IT department.

Got aoffer from a local tech startup as a entry level AE-MSP. I am 22/M and been with my current company for only 2 months as an AE but hate everything about the job except the pay and W/L balance. I’m tired of working from home and wanted an opportunity to work at a team based social environment for some time, so was excited to hear about this offer. But their starting offer is a 40/40 split(80k OTE) which is almost a 40% pay cut. He said we could negotiate. Any advice on what to ask for?

I recently made the switch to full-time freelance, and I've been told I am not charging enough. I want to raise my rates, but don't want to raise my rates *too* much either. How much should I be charging for MSP/CHI market? I'm currently charging $50-$70/hour for design/production.

- Graphic Design: 8 years (4 agency, 4 freelance)

my superiors are building me into a role that isn’t really fully defined yet, but basically I will be working with our IT MSP partner to simplify and where needed build up our tech stack, and also work with our subsidiary company’s to integrate our MSP and tech stacks into what they are doing. I’ll also be building trainings!

I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.

I just got an invite to a 45 minute interview tomorrow from a recruiting firm that's looking to fill a tech position for an MSP client. The job description is awesome and will allow me to grow from entry level tech support to an IT analyst however I haven't worked on many technologies that are mentioned on the job description in my previous role. How can I prepare for this 45 minute interview?

Will my interview be in NYC or MSP? I don’t mind MSP - another reason go back.

Need career advice. Been an IT leader of SMB companies and balancing a few opportunities. One is totally outsourced Infrastructure and all product development with SaaS apps. Two is an IT MSP and consulting services head. Three is green fields data analytics and growth creation team. All jobs are at the VP or C suite level. Pay is all similar so thinking about future jobs. What would set me up best for a future as an IT executive leader, possibly being a CIO or CTO?
