I should clarify, this is less a hypothetical about myself, more a question about the people I am seeing getting hired in this tight market with lackluster portfolios.

Lots of great agencies also have “keep the lights on clients” that pay for all that creative freedom. Often they’ll hire some mid pack creatives to help keep the great ones free to make random awards projects.

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?
