At the same time my current company has pitched for a project at this big Tech and I am scheduling an interview call with the same VP this week to discuss our approach and proposal. My company pitched the work based on my credentials and experience - what should I do?

I just received an email from Talent where they want to scheduled a “feedback call” after the interviews to give me feedback. Is that a rejection?

Does anyone know what an experienced VP or SVP of corporate development makes with an all in package? I’m still in initial interviews but have been told that based on my own current total comp that I would be satisfied. Would love to understand the market as I’m not an executive now.

Interviewing at Salesforce right now for a Solutions Engineer role. I have an interview with the VP tomorrow. Anyone have any advice? I keep getting the feedback that I am too “structured” and too much of a consultant. 💩 Oh the irony.

Hey guys, I’ve recently started interviewing for a position outside my firm. I was wondering who makes the decision to hire? Is it the interviewers (MD’s, VP’s, analysts) or is it the recruiter that reached out to me who gets the final say? I’m crushing it with the directors, Vp’s but not really talking too much sith the recruiter. Please help

Looking for a Project Finance/Infrastructure job in London at the Senior Associate or AD/VP level. No luck applying direct to the usual suspects (French and Spanish giants). Any headhunters who specialize in the space I should be aware of?

How are forecasting roles (think ph2 to pre-launch) perceived in industry? My goal would be to have good WLB with the chance to move up to maybe vp level one day

Also interviewing for corp strategy and corp dev roles but seems like wlb would be meaningfully worse in those roles. Is a lateral move to one of these roles doable from forecasting?

I have a interview with JP Morgan.. One 45 mins interview followed by a 30 mins with VP. What can be expected. This is for servicenow developer.

Recently went through 6 rounds of interviews for a role I'm very qualified for. After the final interview with the VP, I was told that the job went to someone else because she "had a little more CPG experience."
After 6+ hours of interviews, and that being the only feedback, does the given reason feel accurate, or just being nice? How likely did I just botch something in the final interview and they're being non-specific?

Manager in audit currently . I had a job interview for an industry position that was very easy. It was more like the VP selling me on the company rather than him interviewing me. Is this a red flag

Guess a con. firm: Went through the HR screen, three case studies/tests, three interviews with leadership (eg dir/par/vp/md) got a call from HR straight after the final one saying they have excellent feedback and they want to progress to make me an offer but need to get approvals and find me the right team, ghosted me for more than a month after which I chased recruiter who says that they unfortunately won't be coming with an offer with some bs about not being able to find me the right team.

Is Director to CIO in industry too big of a leap? I have not received a single interview call, have been applying to VP/CIO level roles and thinking I need to reconsider.

Has anyone interviewed & received an offer from NY Life for a VP strategy & consulting role? I've seen job postings and trying to figure out salary range before applying. Glassdoor indicates $110-225k and LinkedIn range was $150-290k so too big to be helpful

Interview question at the end of case study; You have a meeting next week with both the VP of direct to consumer (online) and VP of stores. How do you prepare for it?

What do you think of applying for different senior level positions (SD/VP) at the same company? They are completely in a different area but I have enough experiences to tweak my resume and make it sound like I’m a good candidate for both. It’s relatively a small company (~500 employees). I’m afraid doing so would make me look like a generalist or I’m fabricating my background, especially since at this level, they look for a SME.

Massively messed up a timed modeling case today. Wasn’t even able to finish in the allotted time... The VP I’m interviewing with is super nice though, so is it worth it to take a second stab at it and send him the finished version asking for feedback? Do you think that could salvage the situation or should I just take my losses?
