How do I get better at editing? I feel like I’m always missing really small stuff. Spell check is not the problem. It’s more repeated words or missing words. Sometimes a comma. The partner tells me to line edit, but it gets a little difficult when you edit your own work several times. I also have tried to print out my work. Sometimes it helps, but I do not always have access to a printer. Any tips?

I grew up all my life being into STEM. When I was little my parents would get me science kits. They would put me in STEM summer camps. In college I kept changing my major between Phys, CS, Cybersec, and EE bc I liked all the things and couldn’t pick. I don’t feel seen or valued. I have been working for over 15 years. I work hard, I get demonstrably good results in my project work, and people on my teams like to work with me. I go out of my way to deliver value. Yet when it comes to advancement I feel beyond frustrated. I see people with less experience and lesser performance getting promoted quicker. I have tried to develop sponsors. Now I am recruiting outside of BCG and I can’t seem to even get consideration for roles at my level.
