The industry asks for skills, but won’t give freshers a chance. Everyone wants 2+ years, no one gives the first. I’m not alone — many of us are stuck waiting. To hiring managers: look again. That fresher might be ready. Just give us one shot.

Put in notice and one of the partners wants to know what they could do to have me stay. I doubt I will but curious if anyone has chosen to stay and why in this situation other than money. Any regrets?
